Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your download, access to, and use of the Cozy Light mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Cozy Light provides ambient video and sound scenes, favourites, optional bedtime reminders, display preferences, and related features for relaxation, rest, and focus. Available scenes and features may vary by App version, device, region, and access level, and may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued.

The App is not a medical device, therapy, diagnostic tool, treatment, sleep-disorder service, or emergency service. Do not use Cozy Light while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where reduced awareness could create a risk.

Licence and App Store terms

Cozy Light is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.

These Terms supplement the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support of Cozy Light. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms to the extent required by that agreement.

Premium features and billing

Some features or scenes may be offered as Premium in a future or released version of the App. If a purchase or subscription is offered, its price, billing period, currency, introductory offer, and eligibility will be shown in the App before you purchase.

Any purchases will be processed by Apple and governed by the App Store terms applicable to your Apple Account. If a subscription is offered, it may renew automatically unless you cancel it through your Apple Account subscription settings before the applicable renewal deadline. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Media and intellectual property

Cozy Light, including its software, design, branding, original media, and compilation of scenes, is owned by the Cozy Light developer or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

Some visual media in Cozy Light is licensed from Pexels and Pixabay. Some videos are recorded by the Cozy Light developer. Sound effects are licensed from Mixkit. Each item remains subject to the applicable source licence and any related rights.

You may use the media only as part of your personal use of Cozy Light. You may not extract, copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, publish, or make the media available separately from the App, or remove proprietary notices.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Cozy Light for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works of the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass access, subscription, or security controls.
• Extract or distribute the App’s video, sound, or other content outside the App.
• Interfere with the App, App Store, Firebase, or related services.

Third-party services

The App may rely on services operated by Apple and Google Firebase. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, outages, changes, or acts beyond our reasonable control.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cozy Light is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, availability of every scene, compatibility with every device or operating-system version, or delivery of every reminder.

Cozy Light is for general wellness and entertainment only. It is not medical, psychological, sleep, safety, or professional advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability and termination

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Cozy Light developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or end your right to use the App if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions concerning ownership, acceptable use, disclaimers, and liability survive where their nature requires it.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the App, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
